How long does a grooming appointment normally take?
Small dogs usually take about 1 hour to 1.5 hours.
Medium to large dogs can take up to 1-2.5 hours.
We understand pets being away from familiar environments can be stressful, so we try to move as fast as possible while still providing great quality.
My dog is matted. Can they be de-matted or have to be shaved down?It depends on the severity of the matting. Sometimes with the right product and tools, I can de-tangle your pet for extra costs. Severe matting can be close to the skin, which makes de-matting unachievable. While I strive to achieve what pet owners ask for, sometimes decisions require the best interest of your pet, which means shaving them down. I will always call and ask permission before shaving your pet because we value great communication about your pet.
When should I give my pets their anxiety medications for grooming?Please medicate your pets at bedtime the night before their scheduled appointment. Then, provide a 2nd dose 1 hour before your appointment time. This ensures both your pet’s comfort and safety during grooms.
